This is Graham's concept for the show, "Most people are familiar with the children’s game commonly referred to as the Telephone Game. The Telephone Game (aka Broken Telephone, Operator, A Whisper Down the Lane, Chinese Whispers and Pass It Down) is a game often played by elementary aged kids at parties or on the playground in which a phrase or sentence is passed on from one player to another, but is subtly altered in transit. The concept for this project takes a visual spin on the game, resulting in a body of work created by several artists who have a wide range of visual styles, each influenced directly by the artist which preceded them in the telephone chain." |
