Fine Art Student Association sayz:
There are basically five catagories of art in
this exhibit: decorative, sexual, the human
condition, sculpture, and observational/ responsive.
Most of the work deals with or fits into these
topics. There is non-figurative work but no
abstraction. Some of the work deals with patterns
and fits into the decorative catagory. The range
of students who entered work varies from
thesis/adv. to 1st year foundation.

Derek Boshier sayz:

"Don't judge any person until you have walked
two moons in their moccasins"(Native American
proverb). Well, I didn't do that,but I did spend
two evenings looking at slides to jury this
exhibition and enjoyed the experience.

The most difficult thing in the process was
actually rejecting work, otherwise there is a
certain flow in selecting, which always turns out
to be a consious effort to be objective, but
inevietibly one's own taste and preferences
admit the subjective to a small degree.

I found selecting the exhibition long distance
(by slide) a difficult thing to balance as there
are elements of information missing.

Because of the diversity of work in a group
exhibition and because I didn't physically
see the work I have asked that the works should
be installed in a specific way to hopefully
give the exhibition a more unified feel.
